BELAR’S DAYS

(in partnership with Triglav National Park)

Belar’s Days, organised by Triglav National Park, are dedicated to European Parks Day, celebrated annually on 24 May. They were named after Albin Belar, a naturalist, seismologist and one of the key figures behind the establishment of Triglav National Park. The Slovenian Museum of Natural History has participated in the event since the very beginning, offering schoolchildren from communities around the park free admission and guided tours of the Juliana Alpine Botanical Garden.
